To answer a few questions here.
Eurofleet LGW was the once EOG. Eurofleet LGW is seen as a subsidary company within BA and therefore carries different terms and conditions and pay. When CityFlyer was taken over the name changed to Eurofleet LGW.
To those that know I am not being unkind, they find out on the course within 4-5 days.
The BA which is the real BA [to put it simply] is Eurofleet LHR and WW LHR and WW LGW.
EOG crews have been transfering up to LHR Eurofleet and it was taking 5 years on average, however the flow rate has increased to 3-4 years...2000/2001 EOG crews have been coming up.
However, CityFlyer crews have not been given this and rumour has it they won`t be.
EuroLGW crews at present can only transfer to EuroLHR. From there you can transfer to WW LHR/WW LGW. WW LGW is seen "similar" to Euro LHR as monthly pay is similar or sometimes slightly less hence why both bases have recuited and they don`t set min. times to have worked for the company as cc
As for how long to transfer?.....how long is a piece of string?
Unfortuately, to be blunt you have just started at BA and there are crew who have been there a fair bit of time who move before you. Its could be sometime before you move to WW LGW.
