Sure have.
Had one a few years ago caused by too much time spent splashing about with all the corally nutrient type stuff in the Carribean Sea. Nasty, but it sort of lives and grows in your ear apparently. I wish they hadnt told me that! I always make sure to have a real good rinse out at the end of each day now though as a result!

The result was an excruciatingly painful ear, an extra 10 days in the sun all to myself until I was allowed to fly and liberal consumption of rum, strictly for pain relief of course.
It was tough, but I managed!

About a week to 10 days is the norm I was told for most types of this kind of infection to sort themselves out so your nearly there.

Dont take the risk of flying early though, the risk of irreparable damage is very real and definately not worth taking! Go back to the Doc, let em have a look and get the all clear first.
Nothing you can do about it, just a question of time so try not to worry.

Hope your ok real soon.

Personal title?..... I have an idea verging on genius but with an ID like yours I wouldnt like to say it here! (Good point though, should do my bit too)
