Bristol International Airport won the prestigious OAG Airport Marketing Award at the 2004 World Route Development Forum in Madrid.
The award recognises Bristol's success in the promotion of its services and routes, as nominated by airlines and their planning community.
It was one of only five airports from around the world to be put forward in the 5 million passengers and below category. Bristol's market research activities, marketing communications activities, business case presentations for new market opportunities, and joint communication campaigns with third parties were the reasons behind the award.

This puts the airport in a great position to win and support an even wider range of new routes, as demanded by business and pleasure travellers from across the region.”
