The RAF Chipmunk EFT course had a solo close formation sortie in the sylabus at about the 60 hour TT stage. It involved 2 hours dual training then a solo. I was not the sharpest pencil in the box and I coped OK. If it is well briefed, there is no reason that it will be a problem. Remember to walk before you run.....
