Thank u for your replies everyone.What i was quoting .actually happened in hbt not long ago.The off going crew put a defect in the book ie alt miss match then the oncomming crew arrived and realised they had a problem .What did they do,the answer was to change the figures and cross out some other remards like "out of tolerance".I read your website often and i am dismayed that some of you out there would even contemplate similar actions.Ive been in this industry along time and i know that since you guys had your spines removed in 89,the industry has headed south.
I like pilots but i dont condone the actions that many of your brave group display.
As far as declaring the serviceability of an a/c on the ground,ONLY a LAME can declare a unserviceable A/C serviceable.Correct me if im wrong
