I still have a current FI rating but no longer instruct due to the beckoning airlines.
The school at which I used to instruct would charge the student DUAL rates.Yes I agree with all the supervising business.But what about the (and its been quoted before)"underpaid" instructor-Of which I was one.I would find myself, as I have said before, sitting on the deck with my thumb up my arse-"supervising" but not getting a penny for it even though the company was charging the student for my time.
For those who are paid for "supervising"-
How are you paid?
Hourly rate or what?
It was worse when working part-time and only receiving flight pay(no basic)
