The whole thing is about supervision, not the number of take offs and landings. If you send a student on a Qual X Cty it is one flight because you only brief the student once. The student logs 3 flights one for each leg.

There is no added value to the instructor if the student does five circuits compared to one.

One sortie, one brief one supervised solo.
