True. But the controllers would have been stood-down immediately after the incident.
That is what happened. One is back on line and has been for some time. Rumour has it he rang up to see whether he should come to work after hearing the radio, assuming he'd been stood down again.
So why is this news 2 months later?
Because that's the way the media works...
