Don't need to mate as I am doing it all the time! One of the jobs I do is producing CD covers. These used to be B&W jobs with Corel 4 but now with 9 it is full colour. I get my digital photo and bung it into a layer it is invariably larger than the size of the cover that I want and cutting it down to the exactly correct size is difficult. So I design the wording and bung this into another layer. Then, on another layer I make a box which is exactly the same size as the CD cover I require, put a bigger box around it and fill the gap inbetween with white (turning the box lines white as well) - this is the picture frame. With all the layers turned on I see what I want and PROVIDED the printer symbols on these layers are not blanked out, I print what I see. If the layer order is wrong, it is a simple matter of click and dragging in the object manager window.
When making the labels, I have a blank with two concentric circles in the precice place that the special paper has the label stuck on it. I can then design my artwork to fit between the circles, and provided that I ensure that the printer symbol for the layer carrying the circles is greyed out, My design will print on the label without the guide circles appearing.
