I agree.
In fact the paragraph you quote has been amended (in the original post - although slightly earlier than your own post - the plot thickens) by Milt because it represented an impossible flight condition.
It used to read "having shut down the left engine......rudder is trimmed
left foot..."! I puzzled about this for a while...only a
short while I hasten to add.
Maybe it was just a typo? Milt?
Still, all highly amusing.
