I undrstand your thinking on trying to emphasize not overshooting the localizer, but truthfully, in my experience, pilots will get into more trouble overbanking than overshooting. I teach never overbank. And I don't think an ATC controller is ever going to have an aircraft vectored at an intercept angle that would result in a collision with another aircraft on a parallel ILS.
