Birmingham (UK) MSA anomaly?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum; I'm sure someone will tell me if it is.
During preparation for a recent flight I came across what seems to be an anomaly for the MSA quoted in the Aerad plates for the 25nm section north of Birmingham. It gives an MSA of 2600ft yet marked on the ICAO 1:500,000 chart (sheet 2172CD for Southern England and Wales, Edition 30) is an exceptionally high obstacle (lighted) at approx 52.33N 2.01W with a height of 1945ft AMSL. This would give a clearance of only 655ft instead of at least 1000ft which is what I would expect. What, if anything have I overlooked here or is it really an error on either the sheet or the Aerad plates. I'm sure one of you clever chaps or ladies will be able to help. Thanks.
