I made the decision to join bmibaby, when we were just a small outfit of 2 Boeing 737-300s, and utilising the occasional Fokker 100 for Prague & Murcia in summer 2002. It seemed like a big change, with lots more flying & new airports to visit, and so I thought it would be a good career change. With bmi regional pulling out only a few months later, I'm glad I jumped when I did.

There are a number of cabin crew members with all sorts of talent, many have (and many airlines INSIST they have) lots of qualifications, and many enjoy the actual career of flying, but just hate the airline they do it for. I was sick of bmi regional (formerly British Midland Commuter) and made the decision to fly for baby. After two years, things aren't much better, and I'm looking at flying for another airline. Sometimes things just don't work out.

Before applying to bmibaby, I'd seriously consider all your options, because whilst there's some great people, it's not a great airline.
