Agreed - what the hell is the point in paying to cover the same stuff twice?

Just how hard have you been trying - must have seen 20 people get PPL's from scratch at my club since then, some in as little as a month. And thats in the Scottish highlands.
Have you actually asked your intended schools what credit they would give you?
It's crazy spending cash on a PPL to go integrated. Say a modular course costs £32k on average. £5k of that is the PPL so you could complete a CPL/IR for £27k. Or you could you to oxford or Jerez and give them over £60k.
