I did my TR 737 as part of the Global scheme and am now employed with Air Asia. The pay is not as bad as stated above but it is not as much as you would get in England. But remember that out in Kuala Lumpur a little bit of money can go a very long way. It can take a while to finish the TR course and average tends to be from what I ve seen about 4 months.
