What we ended up with is short of GARBAGE, derided the world over. It was patently UNSAFE, waiting for an accident to happen. Australia's almost lack of radar coverage coupled with the idiotic cost saving of shifting ops to Melbourne etc just was borderline farsical! Bit like Telstra shifting customer service to damned India!
