I was Black 3, right down the back. You should have seen the view of the planes lined up on the runway from where I was sitting! All in a line in the run-up area was also very impressive. As for choppy conditions, the thing that made it choppy was the huge amount of wake turbulance I had to fly through! :-)
I think if we ever do anything like that again we should run in at 50ft stepped-up intervals for the vics.
The Bulldog display pilot was Paul Margetts. He's the guy that used to display my plane when it was in the RAF. It was Paul that designed my colour scheme. It was painted by the Red Arrows guys at Scampton. Unfortunately he couldn't use my plane on Sunday as the engine frame is on conditions and aeros are prohibited.
