Thanks for those kind words. I was Blue 3 in the formation. 18 aircraft altogether, we had hoped for 21 but didn't have enough pilots with formation training on the day.
It was incredible to be in a formation of so many aircraft all lined up on the runway for a stream take off. We formed into Vics at Willingale.
Great that Aerbabe and Genghis 'Thrusted' their way up from Chilbolton. Hope it didn't take too long to get back with that headwind!
An enjoyable day was had by all. I even managed an air-to-air photo session in the morning along with a few others and the event photographer in a Cessna 207.
