This reminds me of a one-time Flight Training Manager (incidentally one of the better examples of Management as he had a good sense of humour), who said that, if his in-tray was still looking full on a Friday afternoon, his remedy would be to bundle it all up and post it to himself via the Internal (infernal?) Mail and with any luck it would not re-appear until at least the following Tuesday.
