a test system!? Sounds like it better be just that (a test)! its a joke.
from what ive heard from HLA employees, it seems ridiculous to put the initial incoming phone call in the Ops dept ( as if they haven'nt got more important things to do than answer calls which 90% of the time arent even anything to do with them) At times I believe they even have to neglect flightwatching etc.. purely to answer the phones!
What baffles me is why send the phones to the dept with the least amount of people and who have probably the most important day to day job in the company!? it's idiotic!
From what ive heard, there are certain other departments with a lot more people & a lot less work to do.
Also apparently saftey is being put at risk due to the fact they have no Ops assistanst to update the Jeppersen manuals onboard their A300's ( I heard some updates are up to 3 weeks behind! hardly professional! )
Wouldnt be suprised if a couple more front line people left very soon. But then again, would you blame them the way HLA is being run into the ground?!
