Sorry to hear you missed out fourplay, if they had based the process on guts and determination you would have had it in the bag!
I'm not so sure about things happening for a reason bit anymore. I've since come to the conclusion it depends who you get on the day as to how you go. And apparently my friend it just wasn't our week.
So onwards and upwards to you, no matter what you decide to do. I think it's a shame they are missing someone with such courage and desire but then again that's their loss.
