sacrificing entire forests for 135 paper

For a tour operator in AK, I proofed and collated the 135 paper stack arising from a commercial service churning out the application, manuals, procedures, etc. stuff. Piles and piles of paper. It took two weeks of near-full-time to sort-eliminate-sign-revise-assemble the 6 manuals we put together for a 3-pilot operation.

Never did figure out what some of the required compliances would have felt like, the FAA kind of tip-toed around the more obscure stuff, we got away with ignoring it, but it was a frustrating arbitrary logicless process anyway.

But you never know, you might find a survivor of that kind of experience willing to trade the suffering for a few hours of R44 time. Timebuilders will do anything!

Single Pilot perhaps less paper, but not much less paperWORK, you gotta have pages to list all the things you WON'T do, a training program for how NOT to do hazardous material, for instance. What fun. That's why you'll find most folks hiring a commercial setup firm to computerprint the obligatory paperwork. Fees? I dunno, didn't pay them myself.
