To save you reading all the messages, I think I can boil it down to this. Go for it so long as you can:
1) Afford a low paid job (initially)
2) Afford to loose the money
3) Can be very flexible regarding base, type of flying, type of a/c, etc, etc.
I'm 37 and was with YYZ at the BGS course in July so I concur regarding the age spread. Haven't figured out who she/he is yet though
As far as I can determine, to afford this lark you either need to be on a scheme or with a successful career behind you!!
