I would have expected better from you folks.
The air is not "supporting" the pigeons.
The pigeons are deriving lift from it.
The only downward force applied to the floor will be from those pigeons in "ground effect".
Of course the total mass will not change. Nor would it in zero gravity. Weight will change, mass will not.
Anyway get back to work disco_air you slacker.
