It is true it doesnt fit Ryanairs profile to fund training. They really don't care about faciliatating young guys into their dream profession. They'd rather we paid for our training, including a type rating. Then they would like us to pay for our meals and bottled water. The cheek!

From a business perspective Ryanair have done well so far. However there is only so much customer service that can be sacrificed.

People will happily pay less to fly point to point. That is the main success factor in the European industry. MOL is going further than no fills to bare minimum.

Passengers will eventually think "Ryanair? aren't they the ones who have no seat pockets on their planes, aren't they the ones which wont allow us to take a suitcase with us"

This will especially cause problems for familys with young kids and babies.

People may also think

"Ryanair, aren't they the airline who everyone hates to work for"

The more MOL stretches his staff, the more likely it will be that some organised protests will take place. This is already happening with BALPA.

Now how can a guy be blamed for not wanting to join an airline where the pilots are in such a fierce struggle with management.

MOL is not just ruthless, he is a shark.

They may be winning now, but that still doesnt make me want to work for them.
