Don't know for a fact but considering the current financial situation, expect them to have a go. However, cadets who were chopped (even at Base) were never chased. Precedent maybe?

Edited to add to Captain Airclues comments. The cadet scheme is unlikely to be reintroduced for the foreseeable future. When it is, I would be very surprised if it is in the same form as in the past (ie. non-contributory).

As far as bonds go, as the current package for new joiners at BA is somewhat less than competitive, there is consequently a greater chance of movement from BA to other companies than there has been in the past so perhaps expect some form of bond to be introduced following any type rating. If this is the case, it is likely to be quite rigidly enforced as BA have lost out (albeit rarely) in the past.
