I'll start a petition for traffic lights and a police presence at every corner, too.
Perhaps it's been a while since you were in a city (akin to flying in the J curve), but there ARE traffic lights on every corner, and widespread police presence (speed cameras). When the aviation equivalent of a widespread, cost-effective police presence, ADS-B, is in every aircraft, expect less controlled airspace. In the mean time, fly safely (not in NAS).
