I agree with Jinkster.
This estimate is what they refer to as 'the bare minimum'
That is assuming that you have a PPL with hours already notched up; are above average intelligence; that the man upstairs is kind with the weather and that none of the aircraft ever go tech.
Draw your own conclusions. IMHO I would say, assume 18 months and anything less is a bonus.
