Surely it is better to delay an A/C that is tech than to fly it? (MYT would never let a tech aircraft fly) Delay's happen, it's just unfortunate that this is such a long delay.
The pax were all put up in hotels and had welfare - ie meals drinks etc... They can claim when they get back to the UK and take the issue up with their travel agents and insurance company.
As I understand there wasn't actually any spare 'ad-hoc' aircraft free - so MYT had to do what was best and quicker for the PAX.
Not a 'dig' to anyone but MYT always appear on here for all the bad press how about some good instead!!!
