Surely if they have been accepted at check in, the luggage is not ridiculously heavy and large, since it complies with the policy as applied by the agent and agreed with the CAA?

I started this thread because I wanted to find out what the "limit" really is.

I know that the size limit is standard IATA 55+40+25 and the top end seems to be 12.5kgs.

AF allows 10kg in Y and more in C.

Do you object to the above on safety grounds?
