If they move some of the 744 fleet to LGW (where slots are easier to obtain??) that would free up some slots ex-LHR for the new 346's.
I doubt Virgin would commit to spending $5.5 billion on all these 346's without thinking where they'd get slots from.
Of course when they buy BMi they'll have lots of slots to play with.............
