Be yourself. If you can fly, the sim ride will be no problem.
As far as the tech quiz goes, nothing in there that you would not encounter during everyday operations. Bone up on hold enteries, though.
You never know, if you are of a certain nationality, have flown a mediam weight twinjet for certain airlines, you could possibly be offered a command on the 742 with a 5min interview and no tech or sim check.
