Wow so many replies already!
Yes Green-eyedbabe I work for bmi mainline. All people tell me when I tell them i'm new is that oh bmi is going to the pits e.t.c and then go on to complain about all the long days. Yeah granted they are long, but to be honest You are never constantly working (apart from some of the shorter flights!) I always get time for a cup of tea and something to eat on every turnaround too. The way I see it is that I've started right at the deep end so it's not too bad for me. The one that are the most unhappy with the long days are the crew that are used to doing 2 sectors a day. Jettesen you cheeky git! lol! No i'm not affraid of hard work! It's just it's been a while since I worked full time as I was a student and I am used to crawling out of bed at 2pm and going to a lecture then coming home again, having dinner then going back to bed!
I know the novelty will wear off eventually and when that time comes maybe i'll move to another airline or maybe even start a new career. I am only 20 after all!!!!!!
