Open Day=Marketing

There is a big forum about Emirates at the top of the page but I will tell u here.

If you prefer apply via e-mail you can do it,if you want fill the application on-line will be easier for them, why not send your Curriculum Vitae by post?,and go to all the open day in your area?...

I recommend you do in all this ways and the rest you have in mind.Doesnīt matter if you apply three times in a month in different ways or if you are not "successful" in an open day and you decide try apply next day.I done it and I received so many invitations for an open day as times I send my CV(three letters,4 mails,...).It is curious!More if you think that you should wait 6 months. It sounds strange for me!They have send me invitations for different open days in less than 3 months only. And obviously Iīve assisted to all of them.

I think this doesnīt happen to other people.Maybe they love me???(!)I donīt think so!

In my point of view, and in the point of view of everybody with a studies or experience in Human resources will know that OPEN DAY means MARKETING.And a lot of companies(not only airlines)like recruit as EK use to do.

If they do as many open days as possible is because is like an spot in the TV,a poster in the bus stop,...Everybody know that if they need multilingual and multicultural cabin crew they can recruit it from the London Office,Dubai Headquarters,or only with a few open days around the globe.Last year EK have been near my house 4 times, with 3 months of difference between them!!!

And if an open day there are a lot of people(a lots more than 100people)like in Dubai,Cape Town,Singapore,...why only choose 2 or 3 people?I am sure that from ONLY 100 people there would be more than 2 or 3 potential cabin crew.I have seen people speaking 4 languages and more, with experience in other airlines,...that they havenīt passed the 1st stage. Is it normal?

With so many open days later they get fanastic awards for its Human Resources Department and that people like us are writing this kind of things and spreading the name of Dubai and Emirates Airlines around internet,friends,family,neighbours,...

If you are interested to apply for EK apply on-line,via mail,by post,...and good luck! The city is very nice and the crew too.
