Austrian pays the same pay on all types of equipment.
Salaries are paid 14 times per year although that is not by law but by contract.
13/14 salary are subject to SS deduction and a flat tax only, otherwise taxation tops at 50%.
There is no fight between the unions. A complete seniority merger did not work out last year, but there are still talks on how to integrate Tyrolean (Austrian Arrows) pilots into a career system with Autstrian which would also be interesting to Austrian because of the number of F.100s to be operated by Tyrolean.
(Austrian Arrows is just a brand, the company is still called Tyrolean.)
Austrian Captain's pay tops at app. 12.500 EUR/month for old contract captains and 10.000 EUR/month for new contract captains, after about 15 years as captain.
Tyrolean Captains earn app. 5500 to 7200 EUR (17 annual increases).
Austrian is still negotiating the contract so this might change although it is not very probable.
