Not policy to schedule min rest, it just happens that way sometimes. Some LHR flights are min at the moment due to number of flights for summer and crew shortage. Personally not had a min rest for a couple of weeks and maybe only 3 or 4 in past 2 rosters. 8 days off is standard for as long as I can remember. How do you spread overtime around if one fleet is busier than others? Even then how do you give all pilots a share? Sounds tricky to me. Long haul fleets are o/t every month while 320 is rare to go above 75hrs.
