Plane missing in Vic with six on board
Search and rescue crews are trying to locate a light plane which has disappeared from radar and failed to arrive at its destination in Victoria's north-east.
The plane is missing near the Wangaratta region and has six people on board.
Ben Mitchell from Australian Search and Rescue (AusSAR) says there are concerns.
"We're coordinating a search for a twin-engine aircraft that was last reported 33 kilometres south-east of Wangaratta," he said.
"That aircraft is no longer on radar and not responding to radio calls.
"[It] failed to arrive as intended at the Benalla aerodrome and is flying in extremely poor weather."
