Details have been passed not only to local rep, but also to Union HQ. This was done between a week and 2 weeks ago. So far, not a thing back from either.
Also, some people are not members of a union, so can't go running to them. However, they should still expect whatever agreements they believe themselves to be operating under to be respected.
This thread is simply trying to find out if the same thing is taking place at other units (yeah, NATS forum, I know, but it gets lonely there with no posts for a year!). Trying to find out just how the national agreement is being interpreted. Didn't think it would take this long or be so difficult to find out.
I agree that this forum is not a substitute for accessing the union,
BUT it is a good place to obtain information from other units and to potentially warn them of what may be planned for them!!
Like I said, just trying to find out how the agreement should be practiced.
