17.5k is livable, it just means you can't put the deposit down on that bmw you always wanted
Also in addition to the salary you get flying allowance and other benefits so that would probably raise the salary up a bit. Still as someone said if money was motivation then a career in law/banking gives you better money...
Also Does anyone know what the current state of affairs is with places being tagged to airlines? have any other airlines joined the scheme? do the current batch of people about to go off to NZ got a tagged place?
