I had interview / sim on the 8th and 9th so fairly recently and hopefully my medical should be OK as I only need a renewal from my existing class 1 which had lapsed.
As for the salary I have been living in London for the past 3 years on not much more than 17.5k and I haven't found it that much of a struggle (but then I'm a northerner so tend to avoid the stupidly priced 'trendy' bars and clubs) plus I got used to low salaries as I work in the environmental sector.
With a bit of luck I will be going early next year (I've got a lot of ending my current life in London / Job etc to do before I go) so hopefully see you out there.
