I do not have actual figures in mind, but here in Switzerland we know Austrian guys and made some comparison within unions. AUA pilots are one of the best paid pilots in Europe, if not in the whole world. Especially if you compare it with the lower cost of living (which has also changed a bit since Austria is in EU/Euroland).
On the other hand I think it's not easy to get in, I think they do not hire. You may confuse it with Tyrolean, which is the only growing part within the group and trying to take over more and more of flights. There is a hard fight going on between the two unions, pressure to outsource is high and will continue. Intermittant there are signs of the big war (menace of industral actions).
