I can unfortunetly not tell you anything about AUAs pay scale, but I can tell you something about salaries in austria:
You get 14 monthly salaries by law, double salaries in June and November. The double salaries are only taxed to 4% (not sure, but thats the number that pops into my head).
You get 40 days off by law (quite sure of that one)
As most contries in Europe, AUA pays via the seniority scale, not the type.
