SR20FLYEDOC, I believe what your saying is wrong.
As I am aware the eye accommodates, not by a change in the shape of the lens, but by a change in the shape of the eyeball it's self, this change being brought about by 6 extrinsic muscles which control the movement of the eye in it's socket.
Bates' method sets out to help the eyes to accommodate better, and to teach people to trust their eyes.
"See what your eyes see, not what your brain tells you"
I speak as someone who practices the Method and has/is having success from it, as have many others.
I really don't appreciate pessimistic clipped posts that are full of doom and gloom. This forum is supposed to help people, and in certain cases give them hope.
