Wish that Jeremy would NOT brim over with enthusiasm so much, positively drove my guests round the bend with his constant prattle. My guests were all willing (including the ladies) to take his microphone and place it where it would hurt with his overworked and tedious reference to the Lysander (makes me wince just to write the name now!)
Please, we don't need someone trying to be a poor man's version of a local radio station announcer. Especially when he was joined by the even more enthusiastic girl for the air race commentary.
Oh! to have John Blake (correct name?) back. His tone and depth of knowledge were ideal for the genteel garden party atmosphere of Shuttleworth.
Whinge over... The aeroplanes and flying were wonderful as usual.
