Frankfurt SIDs
Flying into FRA every now and then, I canīt avoid shaking my head over the plethora of SIDs that have sprung up in the last couple of years, and then all being dublicated in the Jeppesen as RNAV Overlays. I know FRA is not the only place with nearly half an inch of SIDs (AMS and CDG are nearly as bad), but if there is anybody involved with German ATC here I would like to get an idea of what the issue is? I hope the German unemployment situation is not being abated by hiring people to draw up new SIDs? Any enlightening comments?
