abused,i think all of your points have been adequately answered by others but a few points from me:
My experience as follows: 13 years RAF,since leaving in 1999,worked for SAS,LH,KLM,GF,LX also Southern air transport and Polar air cargo.
JARs do not specify ratio of Licensed engineer to aircraft they only say "sufficient" which imho is wrong.
In summary,in my time with AAI i was never pressurised into signing anything I was not happy with.
And FYI I was fired by AAi so have no reason to defend them but facts are facts.
I also agree if you are not comfortable with AAI you should go elsewhere as the airline does not revolve around you and if you look on these posts you are the only one complaining about AAI MX.
As for the allegation that the ICAA is in the pocket of AAI if you have any specific details of this(and I suspect you do not)then you should make them known to the JAA.
