Ther is about 5 diffrent contracts most of us suckers are paid per day on base no vacation no paid leave no per diems etc
Initial pay with rating is 175u$/day for f/e and f/o and 250u$/day for capt's.
This is NOT industry standards.
This salary HAS NOT CHANGED SINCE 1996.
AAI seems to exploit the crew as much as possible.
As for the bases, most people spend 4 - 5 days a month there and have to check out when you leave, leaving you to lug your baggage around the world on every trip.
Crew being hired for the -400's are hired on a higher salary because they are "experienced pilots" even though some of these guys have only flown light twins.
Should you ever raise your voice to high you will be sent home ( no pay )
Any requests you might have as for vacation etc will not even be answered
Your schedule (if you get one ) will be subject to constant change
so if you had a life forget it.
Salarys are often late or short.
Well maintained aircrafts, are you kidding ! Obviusly you dont know how a proper airline maintain there fleets.
If anyone belive this is exaggerated please join and see for yourself its actually worse............
