Yes, the $230/day for -400 F/Os sounds a bit off, but not for the reasons espoused. For any of you with 500+ hrs on the -400, best to look elsewhere. Command comes slowly with AAI, if ever.
Just wish they'd give the "tenured" classic F/O's a shot (with the "real" pay rise of 30%, of course....even in the right seat).
In a perfect world, folks should be promoted on their potential, not necessarilly their "time" in the seat. Anyone care to take up that argument?
The poison Leprechaun is actually doing a good job. He's putting bums (Queen's English....not Bowery type, bums) on seats, AND getting signatures on contracts. We can't blame him for shortcomings in the system nor believe his promises if they aren't codified on paper and signed by both parties! Grow UP!
AAI's actually a pretty good organisation, if one overlooks the fauxes pas caused by inexperience within ops. They ARE trying their best. ****No-one could screw with aircrew so effectively if they were trying......... it MUST be coincidence!!!!!*****
