Damn blast and bugger!
I've just got over a revent flare up of my ulcerative colitis.
But...
Prior to this I was toddling along nicely on a maintenance dose of 3 x 400mg of Asacol a day, which was not a problem for the CAA. Now that things are back to normal, my Consultant has recommended I take 6 x 800mg of balsalazide a day as a maintenance dose instead.
I'm going to give the CAA a call tomorrow, but in advance of this I was wondering whether anyone could shed any light on whether the drug and volume is going to keep me grounded (I'm a PPL on a Class 2 JAR medical).
I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed...but Plan B (or, more accurately, Plan NPPL) may have to swing into action.
