I think the MetOffice is based somewhere in Bracknell, maybe you could try them? There website:

They issue huge amounts of weather data for pilots/airlines and I'm sure it would be better experience for your daugther than being in a dentist. Other than that I suggest looking on aviation job websites for positions in Bracknell. Your daugther obviously won't be able to apply for them but you'll be able to express interest in filling the position temporarily.
